Woman Is Struck by Pickup Truck, Dies

A Pomona woman died Tuesday after a pickup truck struck her as she crossed the street in heavy fog.
Janet Pasqualetto, 52, was crossing Garey Avenue at Mission Boulevard at 5:38 a.m. when she was hit, police said. She died at a hospital.
The 26-year-old driver was not arrested, police said.
