Willie Nelson Cancels Show Due to Illness

A sold-out performance by Willie Nelson scheduled for tonight at the Ventura Theatre has been canceled due to the performer’s illness, the singer’s publicist announced Friday.
A bronchial infection has forced the 68-year-old singer to cancel all appearances through Sunday.
“This isn’t something that happens very often,” said Ventura Theatre Manager Roni Osmer. “But when the performer gets sick, what can you do?”
Osmer said fans can return their tickets for a full refund or hold on to them should the concert be rescheduled. For more information, call the theater at 653-0721.
