Funds Will Target Sewer Repairs, Water Tanks

Moulton Niguel Water District and Westminster will receive $3.7 million in low-interest state financing to fix sewer pipes and build drinking-water storage facilities, Gov. Gray Davis’ office announced.
The water district will spend $1.7 million to repair sewer lines in Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills and Mission Viejo. Westminster will use $2 million to build two water storage tanks that can hold a total of 16 million gallons.
