LodgeNet Ends Venture With Hilton Hotels

LodgeNet Entertainment Corp., the largest provider of pay television in hotels, ended its InnMedia high-speed Internet venture with Hilton Hotels Corp. after it failed to meet revenue targets.
The companies formed InnMedia in October 2000 to offer movies on demand, Internet service and video games to the hotel industry.
LodgeNet expanded a separate agreement with Beverly Hills-based Hilton to provide the hotel company with Internet access and “time-shifted television,” which lets guests watch shows when they choose.
