R&B; awards announced

Singers Clarence “Frogman” Henry, Johnny Nash and Koko Taylor were named Tuesday to receive Pioneer Awards from the Rhythm & Blues Foundation during Grammy Awards week in New York in February.
Three groups also were chosen for the award, which honors contributions to the development of R&B; music: The Supremes, the Del Vikings and the Dixie Cups.
Dionne Warwick will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Feb. 20 ceremony.
