Aspiring Actress Shot to Death in Family Home

A woman shot to death in her home was an aspiring actress who appeared frequently as an extra on “The Young and the Restless” soap opera, authorities said Friday.

Adriana Pinon, 18, was found dead in the living room of her family’s home. Investigators had no suspects and did not know the motive for the Thursday afternoon shooting. Pinon appeared as an extra 19 times on the soap opera over the last 18 months. She was taped Monday for an episode set to air March 1.
