Price to Forfeit Two Games
Los Angeles Price will forfeit its final two regular-season boys’ basketball games to avoid exceeding the Southern Section’s 20-contest limit, Coach Michael Lynch said. The Knights, who will finish the regular season with records of 22-6 overall and 6-2 in the Harbor League, planned to forfeit Tuesday’s game against L.A. Ribet Academy and Friday’s game against Rolling Hills Prep. Price’s schedule included three tournaments, which count as two games apiece, as well as eight nonleague games and eight league games.
