Inmate Alleges Plot Against Gov. Bush

A state police agency and the FBI are investigating a letter an inmate sent to Gov. Jeb Bush detailing an alleged threat against the governor, a state official said.
The Florida prisoner gave investigators the names of four people he said were involved in the plot, but so far there is no reason to believe the story, said Tim Moore, commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. No arrests have been made.
The letter was sent to Bush at his Capitol address in late December.
Bush, who is running for reelection, spent Thursday in Pennsylvania at fund-raisers.
