A motorist, apparently upset that a woman was driving too slowly on the Hollywood Freeway on Wednesday night, fired several shots at her car, officials said.
The woman was driving from the 134 Freeway to the 170 Freeway shortly after 11 p.m. when the man, believed to be in his 40s and driving a newer model gray or silver coupe, began following her closely and flashing his lights, Los Angeles Police Det. Mike Coffey said.
When the two cars neared the Magnolia Boulevard exit in North Hollywood, the man passed the woman on the left and fired four shots at her vehicle, Coffey said.
The woman was treated at the scene for a superficial wound to her right buttock, Coffey said.
