Holiday Closures

Thursday isIndependence Day. The following services will be affected:
Mail: All post offices will be closed; no mail delivery.
Government: All government offices and courts will be closed Thursday. City offices in Moorpark, Ojai and Oxnard will also be closed Friday.
Business: All banks, stock and commodity exchanges and thrifts will be closed. Many businesses will also be closed.
Libraries: Closed.
Transportation: SCAT, MTA, VISTA, Ventura County Transit, Metrolink, Simi Valley Transit, Thousand Oaks Transit, Moorpark Transit and Camarillo City Bus Line will have no service.
Trash: Trash pickup will be delayed one day throughout the remainder of the week.
