AND FINALLY ...

Visitors to Paris this summer will discover a new attraction among landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre: palm-fringed beaches.
Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe announced a ban on traffic along the northern bank of the River Seine for a month starting July 21 to allow the city to cover sections of the road with mounds of sand.
Two beaches will be created, one near the Pont Neuf and the other in front of city hall, at a cost of $1.5 million.
Visitors will be able to take in views of Paris monuments from the comfort of a deck chair, surrounded by palm trees, ice cream stands and cabanas.
