United Nations police forces in Kosovo arrested eight ethnic Albanian men accused of killing an ethnic Albanian family they suspected of collaborating with Serbian authorities.
A U.N. statement said the suspects included three members of the Kosovo Protection Corps, the civilian police force created from disbanded units of the ethnic Albanian Kosovo Liberation Army.
The three police officers and five others are suspected of killing the Hoxha family--father, wife and son--and two others in the town of Glogovac last year. Kosovo, a province of Serbia, Yugoslavia’s main republic, is under U.N. administration.
