Westlake Promotes Eby to Head Coach

Josh Eby has been promoted to head coach of the Westlake Village Westlake High baseball team, Athletic Director Phil Wenker said.
Eby, who is a Westlake alumnus and was an assistant the last six seasons, replaces Chuck Berrington, who resigned after this past season to pursue jobs on the college level.
In other personnel moves:
* Jay Hoffman will take over the Cal Lutheran women’s volleyball program. Hoffman, who has been an assistant coach for the Regals for the last nine years, played four seasons for the Kingsmen. Hoffman has also served as a coach and assistant at Thousand Oaks High and with the Zuma Bay Volleyball Club. He replaces James Park, who took over the Thousand Oaks boys’ team.
