Tree Trimmer Dies in 60-Foot Fall

A tree trimmer died Thursday in Tustin after falling out of a palm tree.
Fidencio Roque Velazquez, 33, of Santa Ana was pronounced dead shortly before noon after losing his grip and falling about 60 feet from a tree in the 13100 block of Woodlawn Avenue, police said.
Paramedics found his body in the nearby driveway, Tustin Police Det. Paul Carvo said.
Because he worked for a tree-trimming company, Cal-OSHA is investigating, Carvo said.
