Re “Girl Found Dead Inside Father’s Van,” July 25: They make car alarms that go off if there is any motion detected from outside the vehicle. Surely there could be an alarm built that would go off if motion is detected inside a locked vehicle, loud enough to alert all nearby that a child may be in danger. Then maybe, just maybe, adults would think twice before leaving their young ones alone inside a locked car.
