Investigators have not ruled out arson as the cause of a vehicle fire that spread and gutted New Life Church in Lancaster.
The non-injury blaze started Friday night in a bus parked next to the church at 44339 Beech Ave., said the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Flames quickly spread to the church, where 40 firefighters extinguished the blaze shortly after 11 p.m., dispatcher Rudy Wissema said.
Investigators estimated the fire caused $265,000 damage.
