Food Processing Plant Destroyed by Fire

A Santa Ana food processing plant was destroyed when flames tore through the building, causing more than $1 million in damages, officials said Thursday.
No one was injured in the blaze at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at Gold Corp. Enterprises, 310 Center St., Santa Ana Fire Capt. Anthony Espinosa said. Asian spices were processed in the 150,000-square-foot building.
Espinosa said 40 firefighters brought the flames under control in about three hours. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
