Don Appanaitis, Los Angeles Loyola: Tied his school record and yearly co-state leading mark of 15 feet 6 inches in the pole vault in a 91-32 Mission League victory over La Canada St. Francis that gave No. 5 Loyola its 102nd consecutive dual-meet victory.

Carol Rodriguez, Anaheim Western: Won the 200 meters in 24.9 seconds and the 400 in 56.1 in a 82-45 Orange League victory over Santa Ana Valley.
