Speeding Driver Held on Meth Allegation

A man stopped for speeding was being held in Orange County Jail on Sunday after the California Highway Patrol allegedly found equipment for making methamphetamine in the car, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Scott David Campbell was driving 97 mph southbound on the Eastern toll road when he was stopped Saturday about 8 a.m. near the Santiago Canyon Road exit, a CHP dispatcher said.
Campbell, 29, was booked on suspicion of intent to manufacture a controlled substance. Bail was set at $122,500.
