I saw two good teams at the Wooden Classic and one of them was not UCLA. Ben Howland’s “jam it in the paint and pray for a break” offense will guarantee success against the UC Riversides of the world, but don’t expect any upsets of No. 1 teams, as was the case in the Lavin era.
