Abuse Charges Dropped Against Former Priest

Sexual molestation charges were dropped Friday against a former priest accused of abusing four boys in the 1980s while a youth pastor in charge of altar boys at the San Gabriel Mission.
Lawrence Joseph Lovell, 55, was charged with 11 counts of lewd acts on a child.
He had been removed from the ministry in 1986. This is the sixth case against a priest to be dropped in Los Angeles County.
