MOMA face-lift is on track

Reconstruction of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City is more than halfway complete, and the museum is scheduled to reopen by early 2005 for the gallery’s 75th anniversary.
Delays caused by the Sept. 11 attacks that put the $600-million project slightly behind schedule have been made up, museum director Glenn Lowry said. The museum boasts the largest collection of modern art in the U.S.
