Bad service calls for action

I’m a lot less tolerant of bad service, improper food preparation and lack of hot water than Times staff writer Tom Gorman appears to be [“Lake Las Vegas, Sin City’s Alter Ego,” Oct. 19]. That 45-minute late souffle would neither have been waited for nor eaten nor paid for. The rock-hard over-medium eggs would have been sent back in a New York minute. The lack of hot water for the hotel whirlpool would have been publicly mentioned at the front desk. The water taxi would have been the last straw. Passive acceptance of this type of service just perpetuates the problem.
