Driver Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

Los Angeles police were searching for a motorist in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash early Saturday, authorities said.
The 2:55 a.m. crash occurred near Van Nuys Boulevard and El Dorado Avenue, said Lucy Diaz, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was a man who appeared to be 25 to 30 years old, Diaz said. He died at the scene.
