* Omid Shoukoufandeh, Santa Monica: Converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute in a 2-1 upset of L.A. Loyola during the South Bay/Westside tournament.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

* Marissa Reino, Huntington Beach Edison: Scored in the 20th minute and goalkeeper Cassie Becker had four saves in a 1-0 nonleague win over Dana Point Dana Hills.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

* Val Dominguez, Mission Viejo: Her third goal was the game-winner with 56 seconds to play in a 7-6 nonleague victory over Irvine Woodbridge.
