‘Bring it on’

Writer Renee Tawa must live in a political vacuum (“It’s Hip to Skip the Formalities,” Feb. 7). John Kerry’s use of the phrase “Bring it on” is not, as she states, a “nod to World Wrestling Entertainment stars” in an attempt to prove “I’m one of you.” It’s a right-back-at-you to that Ivy League aristocrat with the aggravated Texan accent, George W. Bush. “Bring it on” was G.W.’s response to Iraqi attacks on our soldiers.
