Holiday Closings

Today is Presidents Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
Courts: All courthouses will be closed.
Mail: All post offices will be closed and no mail will be delivered.
Banks: All banks will be closed.
Libraries: City and county libraries will be closed.
Schools: Ventura County schools will be closed.
Trash collection: Trash service for Oxnard and Santa Paula will be delayed one day throughout the week. Service in Port Hueneme will be delayed only today. Harrison Industries, G.I. Rubbish, Anderson Rubbish and Consolidated Disposal Services will operate on their regular schedules.
Public transportation: Ventura County Transit will operate on its regular schedule. Metrolink will have limited operation.
