Suspect Sought in Police Shootout Is Arrested

A man wanted for questioning about his role in last week’s shootout with Redondo Beach police officers was arrested Saturday without incident outside a motel in Manhattan Beach, police said.
Ronald Schlagel, 50, was booked on suspicioun of narcotics possession, officials said, but not in connection with any crimes relating to the shooting, in which no one was hurt.
