Two Suspects Shoot State Trooper, Elude Capture

Two men wanted for questioning in a couple’s disappearance shot and wounded a state trooper before escaping from an Ozark Mountain cabin that police had surrounded for 10 hours, authorities said.
“I feel like they’re still close, but they can hide pretty good in the woods,” state Police Sgt. Pete Westerman said.
He did not know how or when the men escaped from the 100-square-foot cabin.
