Man Gets 1 Month in Killing of 18 Cats

An Arroyo Grande man who shot and killed 18 cats pleaded no contest to animal cruelty and will be sentenced to a month in jail.
Charles Nurss III said he shot the cats after an animal services officer said he had 24 hours to dispose of them or face jail time or a $1,000 fine for each cat.
