No. 4 Stanford (23-2, 14-1) at UCLA (16-9, 10-6), 11 a.m., Pauley Pavilion, FSNW -- UCLA’s Nikki Blue continued her late season push for a third straight appearance on the All-Pacific-10 Conference first team. Friday’s 25-point outburst in the win over California marked the fifth consecutive game that Blue has scored 20 or more. The Cardinal may have clinched the regular season Pac-10 title with Friday’s win over USC, but don’t expect Coach Tara VanDerveer to give her starters a breather even with the early tip-off time. “We want to keep people healthy, but we want to keep on improving,” VanDerveer said.
California (9-15, 3-12) at USC (16-9, 10-6), 2 p.m., Sports Arena, KMPC (1540) -- The Golden Bears are not going to finish higher than seventh in the conference so they can plan on appearing in one of the first round games in the Pac-10 tournament. USC slipped from second into a tie for fourth with UCLA and looks to end a three-game losing streak after falling to Stanford on Friday. California guard Kristin Iwanaga is on track to set conference records for season and career free-throw shooting. She is averaging 94.8% from the line this season (73 of 77) and is averaging 89.2% for her career (223 of 250).
