Oneida CEO Resigns as Change Begins

The chief executive of Oneida Ltd. has resigned, and a new CEO has been named to help transform the company from a manufacturer into an importer, buying flatware from other makers and selling it under the Oneida name.
Peter J. Kallet announced his resignation Wednesday as president and CEO of the company. Kallet’s successor will be Terry G. Westbrook, a former chief financial officer at several companies including Quaker Oats Co.
