International Project to Build Reactors Is Killed

The United States and its partners formally terminated a suspended project to build two atomic reactors for North Korea in exchange for Pyongyang dismantling its nuclear weapons program, officials said.
The project had been mothballed for two years, but kept barely alive in case North Korea showed signs of resuming international inspections and giving up its nuclear ambitions.
