4 Elderly Women Die When Car Hits House

A car rolled down a hill, sped through an intersection and went airborne before crashing into a house, killing four women older than 70 and injuring the driver, police in Superior said.
Three women in the car’s back seat died at the scene. A fourth woman died at a hospital, Fire Chief Brian Laverdiere said. The driver remained unconscious at the hospital.
Police said there were no witnesses. The cause of the crash in northwestern Wisconsin was unknown.
