A comfy cot worth its stripes

Katharine and Susan Hable, the sister act known for their brightly colored, charmingly rendered Pop florals and Op graphics on Hable Construction pillows and totes, have decided to take this heat wave lying down. Their folding cot, $225, shown here in Ambrosia Stripe with a Surf Stripe pillow, $75, is a groovy update of the 20th century British “lie-low,” suitable for a day at the beach, a night in the tent or permanent residence on the porch. It’s available in five patterns of hand-printed, weather-resistant canvas. The 6-foot-4-inch-long cot holds up to 225 pounds and folds down to 4 by 7 by 38 inches for storage. At Lost & Found, 6320 Yucca St. in Hollywood, (323) 856-5872.
