Re “Officials Add $6 Billion to Price Tag of Levees,” March 31
Are Congress and the Bush administration telling us that they have billions of dollars for a war in Iraq but not a few billion more to protect one of our nation’s most important ports and most historic cities? Lord help us here in California when the Big One strikes.
