Update -- The teams meet for the first time since Sacramento inquired about the Clippers’ interest in trading Corey Maggette for Ron Artest. Sacramento never got back to the Clippers with a formal proposal, a Clippers source said, so the Clippers are pursuing deals with other teams. Sacramento is fourth in the five-team Pacific Division, and the Clippers are last. The Clippers have lost 14 in a row to the Kings, including a 93-80 defeat in Sacramento on Nov. 28. Artest had 28 points and eight rebounds in that game.
