Dutton cancels his ‘Mr. Wilson’ run

Charles Dutton has canceled his August Wilson tribute, “Good Night Mr. Wilson,” that was scheduled for El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood Jan. 18-21.
“It was not just a collage” of scenes from Wilson’s plays, Dutton said. “It was something I was writing, and my schedule wouldn’t allow me time to finish it.”
Wilson added that he probably will perform another show at El Portal in March because “I just love the theater.”
