Coal Mine Roof Caves In, Killing One

Part of the roof collapsed at a coal mine in Pikeville, killing one miner, a state official said.
The rock fall occurred about 900 feet inside the mine, said Chuck Wolfe, spokesman for the Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing. Cornelius Yates, 44, was killed, Wolfe said.
