From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A citywide effort to curb the so-called mansionization of houses will be introduced to the City Council today by Councilman Tom LaBonge.
The motion calls for a law to limit the size of homes that people can build based on the size of their lots. It is intended to prevent people from building multistory buildings that cover virtually their entire property.
A similar measure affecting Sunland-Tujunga by Councilwoman Wendy Greuel won approval from the council last year.
