A favorable climate for film

Paramount Classics said it would donate 5% of the domestic gross from the film “An Inconvenient Truth” to the Alliance for Climate Protection. The group will use the funds for a national education campaign about the effects of global warming.
The donation includes a guaranteed minimum of $500,000. “An Inconvenient Truth” is a documentary about the dangers posed by global warming. It opens in L.A. on May 24.
