Hartsfield Airport Opens $1.3-Billion Runway

About 1,500 runners gathered in the early morning at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for a 5K run that was part of the celebrations for the opening of a $1.3-billion fifth runway.
Airport officials say the runway, which took about five years to build and will open to commercial flights Saturday, was added to help cut in half the delays that plague Hartsfield-Jackson.
