Council Bans Renting to Illegal Immigrants

The City Council voted 3 to 2 Wednesday to adopt an ordinance meant to block landlords from renting to illegal immigrants.
The ordinance would require landlords who cannot prove their tenants are legal residents to evict them or face the loss of their business licenses.
The American Civil Liberties Union plans to file a lawsuit to block the ordinance from taking effect.
