L.A. rental firm makes another buy

Classic Party Rentals of Los Angeles, the country’s largest full-service event rental company, said it had acquired Tennessee-based Grand Events & Party Rentals.
The acquisition is the 11th in 20 months for Classic Party Rentals, which declined to disclose financial terms of the deal.
Grand Events & Party Rentals is the largest event rental company in Tennessee.
Classic now operates 24 locations in eight states and provides equipment -- including furniture, flatware and linens -- for events including Hollywood award shows and celebrity weddings.
