Prince to play the Roosevelt

Prince will start a series of seven shows -- including dinner, a live set and a jazz jam -- this weekend at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
The series, billed as “3121 Live,” kicks off Saturday and continues on Sunday and on June 28, 29 and 30. Two more dates will be announced.
The shows -- with dinner presented by Prince’s personal chef, a two-hour set and a jazz jam -- will be pricey. VIP packages (for two) will cost $3,121, with standing-room-only tickets at $312.10.
