Three Islamist militants were found guilty of decapitating three Christian schoolgirls and received sentences of 14 to 20 years in prison, a judge said.
The alleged members of Jemaah Islamiah left a handwritten note near the bodies, threatening more killings because of the deaths of Muslims in sectarian violence on Sulawesi island.
Hasanuddin, who uses one name, was sentenced to 20 years for planning the 2005 attack, and Lilik Purnomo and Irwanto Irano each got 14-year terms.
