Edmonton 3 at St. Louis 2 (OT): Dustin Penner scored his second goal with 17.8 seconds to play in overtime and the Oilers ended a six-game losing streak.

at New Jersey 3, Florida 2: Jamie Langenbrunner and Noah Clarke scored first-period goals to spark the Devils. New Jersey posted it ninth win in the last 10 at home.

at Ducks 2, Columbus 1: Chris Pronger and Ryan Getzlaf each had a goal and an assist for the defending Stanley Cup champions.
