Turning the tide on a river

Re “Full stream ahead for Lower Owens,” March 11
Oh, sure. Rejuvenate and restore the Lower Owens River to its once-pristine self, and then open it to the public for recreational use.
The public will come with all its exhaust fumes, pollutants from power boats, empty beer and soda cans and all the rest of its trash to dump in the river. Good thinking!
