at New York 1, Milwaukee 0: Johan Santana breezed through seven innings in his first start at Citi Field, and the Mets scratched out an unearned run in the seventh.
Florida 9, at Washington 6 (11 innings): Jeremy Hermida’s second homer, a three-run shot in the 11th, won it for the Marlins, who are 10-1 with a six-game winning streak.
at Chicago 7, St. Louis 5 (11 innings): Aramis Ramirez’s home run won it.
Arizona 2, at San Francisco 0: Chris Young’s two-run double off Brian Wilson ended a scoreless duel after Doug Davis and Tim Lincecum each pitched eight shutout innings.
at Houston 7, Cincinnati 0: Wandy Rodriguez struck out 10 in seven innings. Geoff Blum had three RBIs.
at Dodgers 9, Colorado 5: Manny Ramirez and Andre Ethier homered twice as L.A. won its seventh straight.
