Brandon Inge’s homer lifts Tigers

at Detroit 1, Kansas City 0: Brandon Inge’s home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Tigers. Brandon Lyon (6-4) picked up the win with one inning of relief as the Tigers extended their scoreless innings streak to 21.
Toronto 5, at Tampa Bay 2: Roy Halladay gave up two runs over eight innings for his 13th win. Halladay (13-5) was 0-2 in three previous starts against Tampa Bay this season.
at Minnesota 11, Cleveland 0: Scott Baker pitched a two-hitter, Jason Kubel homered and had five RBIs, and the Twins rolled.
Chicago 8, at Oakland 7: Alexei Ramirez led off the 10th inning with a home run and the White Sox overcame blowing a six-run lead.
New York 4, at Seattle 2: Mark Teixeira hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth. Alex Rodriguez did not play for the Yankees because of back spasms.
at Baltimore 16, Angels 6
